| The International Union of Muslim Women has been in existence for over 20 years. During that time, there have been a lot of changes in technology and in the perception of Islam. But Islam has not changed, and the need to educate and empower Muslim Women is greater than ever before. The vision of IUMW is to create a way for Muslim Women, converts/reverts, cultural or inadequately taught, to come together to learn Islam as presented in the Qur'an and Hadith. As they become more knowledgeable about Islam, they can work together as a Union of Muslim Women to end the cultural, political and social abuse that is experienced by women all over the world. |
